From a tourism and cultural Casares has an infinite number of resources that make it up as one of the most important milestones in the provision of the Costa del Sol, highlighting the wide range of assets, including natural and scenic environments of great wealth (and Bermeja Crestellina the Sierras, the river basin and Genal Guadiaro, or the Sierra de la Utrera), a heritage of great archaeological significance, with nearly all vestiges of the historical periods (Neolithic site of Grand Duke, Roman city Lacipo, The Salt tower, medieval fortress ,...), and of course, above their town, declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1978.
