Situated North of the N 340 at km. 167 between San Pedro and Estepona, El Paraiso was designed by Gary Player in 1973 and is one of the oldest courses on the coast. Whether you are a low handicapper or just wanting to enjoy a round of golf on your holiday, the course offers golfers an exciting challenge.
The setting is incomparable – lush fairways are punctuated by meandering streams, flanked by palm trees and an abundance of exotic fauna, including oleander, jacaranda, and mimosas. Lakes provide a home for water birds and the golf balls of the unwary. Silence will be appreciated as there are no major roads near the course.
Signature hole is the sixth where the big hitters can hit the green in if the draw their drive, a lake on the right will take care of any sliced second shot though.

Proponemos una ruta inolvidable de un día. La ruta sugerida pasa por visitar los pueblos de Casares, Gauzín, Algatocin, pasando por la Serranía para terminar en la ciudad de Ronda.
Emprendemos la marcha y nos dirigimos por la Autovía A-7 en dirección a Cádiz, salimos de ella en la salida 153 (Sur de Estepona) y en la rotonda salimos en dirección a Casares, una carretera estrecha nos lleva hasta un mirador desde donde podemos divisar su peculiar orografía, desde este enclave podemos obtener magnificas fotografías del pueblo. Seguidamente nos dirigiremos andando por sus empinadas calles hasta alcanzar el montículo calizo en cuya cima está situado el Castillo medieval. Desde la cima nuevamente tenemos una vista opuesta de Casares con sus encaladas casas ancladas en la montaña, que no podemos dejar sin plasmar en nuestras cámaras, dado que el entorno es de una gran belleza plástica. |
